Year 5 became weather reporters this week and helped create their very own weather broadcast.
They wrote the script and used the green screen technology in school to create a professional finish to the broadcast.
Year 5 explored the effect of surface texture plays in the amount of friction produced. The careful placement of a car meant that the children could test how fast it took, using different surfaces, for the car to descend on the ramp.
The findings were that the smoother the surface the less friction is produced.
While the boys were out at Turves Green Boys school, the girls had a visit from the girls school.
Shanaya and Chloe, who left Bells Farm last year to start the school as Year 7’s came to talk to the girls about the highlights of their year so far.
The girls then had a drama workshop exploring role play and the basics of acting.
