Year 5 having been creating Christmas cards with a simple popping out mechanism.
Year 5 applied their knowledge of both a running stitch and back stitch to create a bag out of hessian.
Kestrels (including Mr Devaney) were learning how to create a back stitch when sewing. Thank you to Mrs Coghlan for coming in to help too!!
In science today, Kestrels we’re investigating whether an object will sink or float based on its density.
In history, Kestrels completed a very difficult retrieval quiz on their learning from year 4. They then went onto to learn all about the Anglo-Saxon belief system when they (the Anglo-Saxons, not the Kestrels) first invaded Britain.
