Water resistance investigation

Science continued this week with an investigation into the effects of water resistance. In groups, the children made 3 shapes from modelling clay to see which one was the most streamlined, thus creating the least amount of water resistance. It was a very enjoyable and informative lesson.

  1. When i was making my cone it ended up looking like a little witch’s hat! It was really fun testing the time for each shape to get to the bottom of the water, I’m really happy my group’s prediction was right!
